Our Philosophy
At Mom’s Tiny Treasures (MTT), we are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where all children—including those with special health care needs and disabilities—feel valued, supported, and excited to learn. We believe that every child, regardless of ability, language, or background, deserves the opportunity to grow and thrive in a nurturing, developmentally appropriate setting.
Our approach balances child-initiated exploration with teacher-guided instruction, ensuring that learning is engaging, meaningful, and responsive to the interests, primary languages, and cultural backgrounds of our scholars. We intentionally incorporate culturally relevant materials, multilingual resources, and family traditions into daily routines, classroom environments, and curriculum planning.
At MTT, we proudly teach and use English, Spanish, and American Sign Language (ASL) to create a linguistically rich environment that supports communication, inclusion, and cultural appreciation. These languages are embedded into lessons, songs, stories, classroom signage, and everyday interactions, allowing children to express themselves confidently and connect with others across languages and abilities.
We provide meaningful opportunities for children of all abilities to collaborate, build friendships, and learn from one another through inclusive play, group activities, and individualized support. Our educators regularly observe and reflect on children’s interests and cultural identities to guide planning and ensure representation and relevance in learning experiences.
Our experienced staff implement a wide range of strategies—including sensory-friendly spaces, assistive technology, differentiated instruction, and universal design for learning (UDL)—to support accessibility and success for every child. We are grounded in equity and anti-bias practices and strive to ensure that every child sees themselves positively reflected in the classroom and feels a strong sense of belonging.
We emphasize social-emotional learning, communication, and community engagement as essential foundations for lifelong success. Families are valued as co-educators and cultural experts, and we build strong partnerships to support each child’s individual growth and development.
At MTT, we believe that learning happens everywhere and at all times. We embrace innovative, out-of-the-box approaches and honor each child’s unique potential. There are no limits—not even age—when it comes to our tiny scholars’ growth, development, and success.
